Urth

Urth is synthetic monitoring for networks that public monitoring systems cannot reach. Versioned scenarios run on self-hosted workers inside the network segments being tested. Workers make outbound connections to the control plane; nothing needs to reach into the private network.

Urth supports the measurement side of the SRE Norns resilience loop.

Current capabilities

• HTTP, TCP, DNS, ICMP, gRPC, REST, HAR, and browser scenarios.
• Label-based placement across runner pools and network segments.
• Manual and scheduled scenario definitions.
• Results, logs, metrics, screenshots, HAR files, and other artifacts.
• A resource-oriented API, web interface, and urthctl command-line client.

Early preview

Urth is under active development and is not production-ready. Authentication, scheduled execution, and parts of the distributed runner model still have known gaps.
